Deja Vú

That odd moment when everything feels the same..

Remember back to the times you had deja vu, the scents, the sounds and the sites brought you to a place you felt like you've been before.. Almost as if you were seeing into the future. We've all been there before and probably even said something along the lines of "Whoaaa, that was some serious Deja Vú!"

In my past experiences and through a lot of research, I've made the bold realization that these are our alternate realities. Realities that are being brought about through the vibrancies you're giving out. They steer you down one of your many realities that has been set out for you. Take it for what it is but we all have our own opinions.

Really focus on your intuitions the next time a scenario like this pops up. Think about how it makes you feel, how you were feeling before it came about and how does it make you feel after it's over. Maybe even write it down, then you can truly see where it's deriving from!

Connective Awareness

Sense your surroundings..

Have you ever entered into a situation and immediately felt as if there was a different vibe, whether good or bad, you just felt some sort of uneasiness? I can say with confidence this has happened to almost everyone at least once in their lives.

The first time I noticed this was sitting down on the porch with one of my cousins. He came up to me and stated, i don't know what it is but I have a very strong urge to just sit down next to you and be in your company.. You are giving off such Vibrant and accompanying vibrations. Ever since that day I have always taken the extra time to sense those frequencies in every situation to understand and get a better grasp on what it was I was about to get myself into.

So here's the challenge for you, the next time you sense feelings of this nature.. Stop, take a few deep breaths and figure out what or who is giving off those frequencies! After all we are all connected to each other whether we like to accept that or not.

Motivation Vs. Dedication

Motivation and dedication, what do they truly represent and how can each of us firmly grasp these concepts... While pondering starting a business there were so many thoughts running ramped through my mind, how would I do it all, where would I get the money from, who is even going to buy my things, and lastly what if I fail? All these questions were answered as the ideas and concepts came into fruition.

Starting with motivation.. The ability to stay on task to achieve your dreams and goals no matter what. Well everyone is motivated aren't they? My answer is no, most people are just in a routine to make the days go by and fill that void of "being busy." Speaking for myself, I gain my motivation from seeing past failures around me and knowing I don't want to be like everyone else, aimlessly running around trying to make other people's dreams come true. I wanted to be my own person and create something with my brothers that will satisfy a greater need to better myself.

Then there's dedication.. Oh how so many people have this wrong. Dedication is how willing you are to do whatever it takes to complete your goals and make your dreams a reality. Everyone seems to think this is a part time action, but it should be a part of everyday life to gain more knowledge and better yourself. The drive to succeed and what it takes to get there are done so through motivation and dedication!

The Bow Tie

How it all started

From the early age of 5 I was extremely fascinated in the way the bow tie was structured. A bow: close to my neck, not too tight, not too lose... it fit just right. This fascination all started thanks to Bill Kenerson, our grandfather, who owned and operated a very successful bow tie company for more than 30 years. When we were young, every time we went to visit him in Vermont, we were bound to visit the Bow tie factory. No matter how many times we had been there before, there was always something new to learn. Bill was a very wise and successful man but didn't open up to many people. The little bit we know about him is truly something, myself and my brothers, will carry with us for eternity. I'll never forget, my 15th birthday I asked for a tangerine striped bow tie, I had no idea how to tie this bow tie but I was setting out on the journey to learn and master it. I wanted to be that unique, young, strapping lad who wore bow ties, setting myself apart from the average tie wearers. And now look where I am today, 7 years later, I'm still a young, strapping lad, but now I don't only wear bow ties I create them as well, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Bill is now off to a better place, but the legend he left behind is why we are here today, that's where we present to all of you, The Bow Tie Collective. With all this being said I hope you enjoy our website and please provide any necessary feedback.
